Prior to the Conference a two day Terminology
Training Sessions and a Pre-Conference workshop
will be held.
The Exhibitions will be on view during the of
Pre-Conference Workshop and the two days of the
TAMA 2003 SA Conference. You are welcome to

The Terminology Training Sessions will focus on
Terminology Management in the multilingual global
society and include basic level theoretical and
practical lessons on terminology management and
tools. Target Group of the Training Sessions are
(South) African language practitioners from
different user communities. Sessions will be held
by acclaimed international scientists and trainers
in the field of terminology.
In the practice-oriented Pre-Conference
Workshop experts from around the globe will
exhibit new research on terminology management.
Also, experts from various universities and
business organisations in South Africa will have
the opportunity to present their research and
challenges they are faced with as well as products
and tools.
