The first two days of the conference will be dedicated to the training of (South) Africans in terminology management and the most innovative and available ways of accessing multilingual terminological resources for different user communities. Approximately two hundred delegates will receive training during these two days.

Experts on terminology management and experts in related fields have agreed to come and provide training. These experts are mainly from the United States of America, Germany, Austria, Romania and the Netherlands.

The training will entail ways of improving global accessibility to multilingual terminological resources for different users of terminology in the South African society. Emphasis is placed on the specific needs of South Africans regarding terminology management.
